In-Home Pet Sitting
Our pet-sitting service is built on a true understanding of animal behavior, years of professional pet care experience, and a deep passion for providing the best care for even those animals who may need a little extra!
We designed this service so that you can customize your pet's care and avoid paying “blanket rates” for services your pet doesn’t need!
Our basic in-home pet-sitting service includes feeding (of course!) daily enrichment/walks and guarantees your pet will not be left alone for more than 6 hours at a time. Any other services can be added in piece by piece!
Our Rates
In-Home Pet Sitting- Starts at $65 per night
Each additional dog adds $10 per night.
Each additional cat adds $5 per night
Medication adds $5 per night (except injections)
Injections add $10 per night
Anxiety cases (can’t be left alone for more than 3 hours) adds $30 per night
24/7 care starts at $150 per night.
Board and Train
Man & his Mutt does offer Board and Train services, starting at $150 per night. Board and Train services are efficient and effective at tackling certain objectives and can help your dog perfect specific skills or work through some more challenging issues. However, it doesn’t allow us to facilitate owner education alongside their pets’ learning process, which we find is a deeply important part of the training process.
We only recommend Board and Train service when it’s truly the best training option for your pet. Please, set up a consultation with us to discuss if Board and Train is the right choice for you and your pup!
We Know More Than Just Dogs!
The CPACM test also includes tests for a thorough knowledge of cat care, and we are also deeply passionate about our pet cats! Alex has 8(!) cats in his home, and has fostered and found homes for multiple cats and kittens since he moved to Philadaphia, including two full litters of kittens that were born in his home! We certainly aren’t qualified to train cats, and are very impressed by people who can, however, we are still more than qualified to care for them! We are trained in Feline First Aid and CPR, and can also administer any type of medication that may be necessary for your little lion! We also always track potty habits and appetite and send plenty of photo updates! Your kitty will have access to as much engagement and enrichment as they may want, but we always let them make the first move!
We also have experience with Reptiles, Horses, Livestock, Small Mammals, and Exotic Fish! We can handle the whole menagerie!
